- Presentation of proposed Sligo Greenway route, including a description of the existing infrastructure, design, public engagement to date, planning status
- Summary of the impact of Sligo Greenway upon the landscape, archaeology, natural heritage and built heritage
- Description of the connectivity with planned developments for the region
- Strategic context for the project, based upon national and regional plans, such as Project Ireland, National and Regional Greenways, Sligo County Plan, County Sligo Tourism Strategy, among many others
- Multi-criteria analysis of the project, including development options, recommendations and cost-benefit sensitivity analysis
- Review of the economic potential, including projected visitor numbers, average number of overnight and day visitors, spend by visitors, payback period, employment, net visitor expenditure, regional tourism multipliers and net additional expenditure
- Recommendation for a management structure to oversee strategic and operational development of the greenway, including trail inspection, safety and insurance
- Preparation of an outline Marketing Plan for the greenway, including monitoring tools for evaluation of success
