Reviews carried out on behalf of LEADER organisations, and County Councils, with the aim of assessing the delivery and outcomes of Local Development Strategies (LDS) and identifying potential areas of re-allocation of funding within the County’s LDS.
Project details
- To assess the consistency of delivery and outcomes across the three programme Implementers in the County.
- To assess the consistency with the themes and sub-themes of the programme.
- Assess the outputs of the programme against the agreed LDS Actions under each of the themes and subthemes of the programme.
- To consider the extent to which funding is directed to the most-in-need derived from the LDS SWOT analysis and area needs analysis.
- To consider thematic areas in which funding may be re-directed.
- Assessment of the added value generated at local level in the form of improved social capital, improved local governance and enhanced results.
- Assess the factors of success and failure regarding the achievement of the LDS objectives.
- To consider the geographic spread of funding across the County.
