Preparation of Tidy Towns 5-Year Action Plans for, to date, a total of fourteen towns and villages throughout Counties Leitrim and Sligo, including extensive consultation and facilitation with stakeholders in each community, identification of areas for improvement, and provision of recommended actions and priorities. A final document was prepared and presented to each client community.
Project details
- Extensive consultation with community members in relation to local areas, identification of areas of weakness as well as opportunities for future enhancing and improvement
- Review of historical information as well as current plans and policies to include Records of Protected Structures, Local Area Plans, National Inventory of Architectural Heritage, Register of Historic, National Parks and Wildlife Service databases, County Development Plans, etc.
- Conduct of public consultation workshops and presentations
- Based upon the above, identifying five year Strategic Action Plans for each community, in line with established Tidy Towns Competition categories and focusing specifically on the strengths and attributes of each area
