This Feasibility Study, carried out on behalf of Western Development Commission, considers the potential for establishing an Irish educational experience programme similar to Taglit-Birthright Israel, an internationally recognised initiative which has funded more than 340,000 ‘free’ educational trips to Israel by young Jewish people from more than 62 countries since the year 1999.

- Review the economic impact of the programme, e.g. spend by programme, spend by participants, direct and indirect spend
- Prepare detailed financial projections, including potential operating costs, cost centres, sources of trading income, pricing and direct costing

- Impact of tax upon charitable donations by US and Irish taxpayers
